Yatseniuk notes importance of law on pre-school and secondary education in Ukraine
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has stressed the need to draw up and adopt a law on pre-school and secondary education.
"We need to offer a second concept of the law on education reform, namely a new law on education, which would fundamentally change approaches in secondary and pre-school education," he said at Kyiv Borys Hrinchenko University in Kyiv on Thursday.
Yatseniuk predicted that such a bill could be submitted to parliament this year.
Teacher's Day is marked in Ukraine every year on the first Sunday of October (this year on October 5).
