Kyiv establishes charitable fund to raise funds for ATO fighters
Kyiv has established a charitable fund to raise funds for participants of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO), Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.
"We established a charitable foundation, where money could be transferred for the guys on the front line. All funds will be spent transparently and under my personal control. Every week we send all necessary [things] to the military operation zone, what the combaters are asking for. We raise funds, renovate machinery and ambulances, buy equipment and food. Today a front exists due to the help of not indifferent Ukrainians, dedicated volunteers," UDAR party press service quotes Klitschko as saying on Wednesday.
The mayor also stressed that a coordination center to help the ATO participants was established in the capital, and he urged Kyiv citizens to provide help to the Ukrainian army.
