No suspects in murder of former State Property Fund head Semeniuk-Samsonenko, investigation ongoing – Interior Ministry

The investigation into the murder of former Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko isn't over yet, and there are no suspects, Deputy Head of Main Investigative Directorate of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine Oleksandr Vakulenko has said.

"For now the investigation isn't over. Investigators have ordered a number of expert examinations," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday.

Vakulenko noted that no one had been accused of being a suspect in the criminal proceeding yet.

As reported, former Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko was found dead in her home in the village of Chaiky (Kyevo-Sviatoshynsky district) on August 27. A criminal proceeding was opened due to her death under the Article "premeditated murder."

Semeniuk-Samsonenko was a Ukrainian politician, former head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (2005-2008), an MP of the second, third, fourth and fifth convocations, and a member of the Socialist Party of Ukraine.
