Ukraine will regain control of Donbas, Crimea - Yatseniuk
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk has expressed the belief that Ukraine will be able to restore control over the east of the country and Crimea.
"I do believe that the time will come when Ukraine will take over control in the east of Ukraine and in Crimea. I do believe that the time will come when we will turn this page, this dark page of our joint history. And I do believe that the time will come when Russians will say sorry to Ukraine," he said at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York on Wednesday.
" So until President [of Russia Vladimir] Putin will be in the office, it will be very difficult for Ukraine to take over control of Crimea," the premier said.
Yatseniuk expressed the belief that the Russian president wanted to restore the Soviet Union and would not easily give up this idea.
