Eight Ukrainian troops were wounded in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, said.

"Eight Ukrainian troops were wounded in the past 24 hours. No troops were killed," he told a briefing at the Ukrainian crisis media center in Kyiv on Wednesday.
