Ukraine protests Russian humanitarian convoy's arrival in Donetsk
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has expressed protest against the arrival of a humanitarian convoy from Russia in Donetsk on September 19 and 20, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Yevhen Perebyinis has said.
"The Ukrainian side sees such an action as provocation and a deliberate attempt to hide what was illegally transported to Ukraine by a convoy of Russia trucks, escorted by reinforced military units," he said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
He said the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry had sent an official note to the Russian Foreign Ministry expressing its protest, and is waiting for explanations.
