NSDC notes redeployment and rotation of Russian troops near border with Ukraine
The Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) has said that a redeployment and rotation of Russian troops has been recorded near the Ukrainian border.
"A redeployment of Russian troops has been recorded in the border zone of the Ukrainian-Russian border. There is a rotation of units, some of which left the territory of Ukraine, but other units entered instead of them," NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
In addition, he said, the Russian side continues to train militants in military camps on its territory.
Lysenko said that over the past day there were no clashes between units of the State Border Service and subversive armed groups and units of the Russian Armed Forces.
