Legislation on special status for certain districts in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada next week, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said.

"This bill will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine next week," Poroshenko said at a Cabinet of Ministers session on Wednesday.
