Kuchma: Working group to be formed by Monday to implement Minsk agreements
Ukraine's representative in the Trilateral Contact Group, Ukraine's second president Leonid Kuchma has said that a working group will be set up by Monday, September 8, which will engage in the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
"A working group will be set up by Monday, whose mission will be to bring all the issues to their ultimate solution. And there are plenty of issues," Kuchma said in Minsk on Friday after the talks of the contact group on the settlement of the situation in the east of Ukraine.
These problems include political issues, in particular the matter of self-government of these regions and the transfer of power to them, Kuchma explained.
"All of this is envisaged in our documents," he said.
