Poroshenko hopes document on peace plan implementation will be signed at contact group meeting on September 5
Ukrainian President Poroshenko expects that a document on the beginning of the implementation of a peace plan to resolve the situation in the east of the country will be signed at a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk on September 5.
"I have briefed our partners about the negotiations that we had with Russian President Vladimir Putin and the plans on what should happen tomorrow. According to preliminary information, at 1400 a trilateral meeting of a contact group will take place, where a document concerning the stages of the implementation of the peace plan for Ukraine should be signed," he told reporters in Newport (Wales), where a NATO summit is taking place.
