New Ukrainian defense doctrine should recognize Russia as aggressor nation - Yatseniuk
Kyiv, September 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A new Ukrainian defense doctrine should recognize Russia as a state threatening Ukraine's territorial integrity, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"Ukraine needs a new defense doctrine clearly determining who the aggressor is and who is a threat. The new defense doctrine should designate Russia as an aggressor state and the principal and only country that threatens Ukraine's territorial integrity and national security," Yatseniuk said at a government meeting on Wednesday.
