Militants attempting to break out of Donetsk encirclement – NSDC

Illegal armed formations are attempting to break through the encirclement of Donetsk, National Security and Defense Council's spokesman Andriy Lysenko has said.

"The shelling of civilians by the militants hasn't stopped in Donetsk. Counter strikes in the city's outskirts continue, [and] the militants are trying to break through the ring set up around the city," Lysenko said at a press briefing on Tuesday.
