Ukrainian State Border Guard Service confirm clearance of Russian humanitarian cargo
Ukrainian border guards and customs officers have begun the procedure of clearing the Russian humanitarian cargo through customs at the checkpoint Donetsk, Rostov region of Russia, the press service for the Ukrainian State Border Guard Service has reported.
"The Ukrainian authorities began the customs clearance of the Russian humanitarian cargo at 1415 p.m. (1515 p.m. Moscow time)," the press service told Interfax.
The information center of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council has confirmed this information to Interfax. "At 1415 p.m., Ukrainian border guards and customs officers began clearing the first truck in the service zone of the border control at Donetsk, Rostov region," said Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council.
