Ukrainian border guards, customs officers did not clear Russian humanitarian aid as of 0700 – State Border Service
The State Border Service of Ukraine has reported that Ukrainian border guards and customs officers did not clear Russian humanitarian aid as of 0700 on Thursday.
"No truck was cleared as of 0700," the State Border Service's press office told Interfax-Ukraine.
The service did not provide other comments on this issue.
However, the agency learned that a convoy of humanitarian aid from Russia planned to leave the Ukrainian Izvaryne border crossing point in the direction of Luhansk at about 0700-0800 on Thursday under the auspices of the International Committee of the Red Cross. A column with Ukrainian humanitarian aid was expected to leave Severodonetsk for Luhansk at approximately the same time.
There is no official confirmation that the Russian humanitarian aid convoy entered Ukraine.
