Poroshenko sure Association Agreement with EU will be ratified in September
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said he believes that Ukraine's Association Agreement with the European Union will be ratified in September.
"We all did a lot to sign the Association Agreement. There is no longer a debate in Ukraine over whether or not to ratify this important document for us," the presidential press service quoted Poroshenko as saying following his meeting with Batkivschyna faction deputies on Wednesday.
"He said that the agreement would be ratified in September," the press service reported.
The report notes that MPs agreed that in the issue of ratification of the agreement they should act in concert with the president.
Poroshenko also informed MPs about the anti-terrorist operation in the Donbas, as well as expectations from multilateral talks in Minsk.
