Kyivstar has to temporary suspend operation in Crimea due to arrival of armed persons to office
A group of armed persons on Monday entered the office of Kyivstar in Simferopol and in the presence of the company's employees started installing its equipment on the telecommunications equipment of the company.
The press service of the operator reported that Kyivstar acting in the interests of security of its subscribers, physical safety of employees and the operation of the chain had to temporarily suspended the provision of services in Crimea.
Kyivstar informed the National Commission for Communications Regulation (NCCR) on the situation and the company is waiting for instructions from it.
The press service of Astelit (the life :) brand) told Interfax-Ukraine that the company is operating in Crimea in the usual regime, as of August 11, the communications services are provided in full.
