Issue of involving UN peacekeepers in de-escalation of conflict in eastern Ukraine not on agenda - Chaly
Ukraine is not considering the possibility of involving UN peacekeepers in de-escalating the conflict in the east of the country, deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine Valeriy Chaly has said.
"We have no such a conflict, under international law, which would require the involvement of peacekeepers... But the proposal could be considered, although at present the issue is not on the agenda," he said in the Shuster Live program on Friday night.
