Ukraine initiates new sanctions against modernizing Russian army – Yatseniuk
Ukrainian Premier Arseniy Yatseniuk said on Friday that the government proposes to introduce new sanctions in order not to allow modernization of the Russian Armed Forces.
"The new resolution, being initiated by the Ukrainian government, will introduce additional measures, which will not give the opportunity...to Russia, country-aggressor, to modernize its armed forces," he said at a briefing in Kyiv.
The premier reminded that a month ago the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine banned defense and technical cooperation with Russia.
