The voting for the government-proposed bills in the parliament on Thursday helped Ukraine avoid default, Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk said.
"There are two pieces of news in the world economy now. The first one is that Argentina has declared a default and the second one is that Ukraine has not declared a default and will never declare it," Yatseniuk said at an extraordinary session of the Ukrainian parliament on Thursday.
