SBU releases satellite images confirming shelling of Ukraine with Russian Grad launchers from Ukrainian territory
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has released evidence - satellite images that confirm the shelling of Ukrainian settlements with Russian Grad multiple rocket launchers from Ukrainian territory, an Interfax-Ukraine reporter has said.
SBU Chief Valentyn Nalyvaichenko at a briefing in Kyiv on Wednesday demonstrated several satellite images, which, in particular, prove Russia's military aggression, illegal movement of weapons, and saboteurs.
"Russian Grad artillery launchers are deployed on Ukrainian territory, two kilometers from the border with Russia, and commit particularly dangerous crimes, killing people," he said.
When asked whether this means that Russia was firing at settlements from Ukrainian territory, Nalyvaichenko said: "Exactly. We are documenting the evidence presented now, as well as evidence in criminal proceedings – these are war crimes."
The images were taken in July over Donetsk region, and they serve as evidence.
