Ukrainian National Guard conducts troop rotation in action area - National Security and Defense Council

A rotation of military units and units of the National Guard is being conducted in the zone of the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine, Andriy Lysenko, an official with the information center of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, said.

"The rotation of troops of the Western operative territorial junction, who acted heroically during the liberation of populated areas in the Donetsk region, is now being conducted," Lysenko told a briefing on Wednesday.

Lysenko said the rotation is a routine one.

"The command is doing everything to ensure the security of our troops during the rotation process," he said.
