Ukrainian president replaces NCCR head, partially reshuffles regulator members
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Andriy Semenchenko from the post of head of the National Commission for Communications Regulation and IT (NCCR) and appointed Oleksandr Zhyvotovsky to the post.
The head of state also reshuffled the commission.
Decrees on changes in the structure of the commission Nos. 620-627 were posted on the Web site of the president on Monday.
Members Olena Ulasenko, Anatoliy Dovhy, Serhiy Dziuba and Volodymyr Oliynyk were dismissed.
Volodymyr Hresko and Oleksandr Skliarov remained members of the commission. Viktor Lahoshyn and Viktor Mazur were appointed members of the commission.
According to information in open sources, Zhyvotovsky was earlier Vice President of ING Commercial Banking Ukraine. Lahoshyn is head of Inter.com fixed communications operator. Mazur is a board member of the Internet Association of Ukraine.
