Ukraine army reports strikes against Luhansk airport
Russian-sponsored insurgents are continuing to fire Grad multiple rocket launchers and mortars against Luhansk airport, the press center of the Ukrainian anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine reported on Tuesday.
The rebels "continue to put up resistance and to fire mortars, gun and missile systems and 155-millimeter cannons against our firing positions located in the towns of Snizhne, Shakhtarsk and Torez," it said.
"It has also been noted that the activity of illegal armed groups has been declining," the press center said.
In Perevalsk, Luhansk region, separatists are forming columns with the intentions to leave Ukraine, the ATO press center said.
