Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin is due to visit the United States next week, a diplomatic source told Interfax-Ukraine on Friday.
"The minister will visit Washington where he will hold meetings in the presidential administration, the Department of State and the Congress," the source said.
The visit will be taking place as the European Union is expected to make a decision to significantly toughen its sanctions against Russia and a group of U.S. senators have suggested designating the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic as a terrorist organization.
