Second plane carrying crash victim remains leaves Kharkiv for Netherlands

The second plane carrying the remains of the people killed in the Malaysian plane crash in eastern Ukraine on July 17 left Kharkiv for the Netherlands on Wednesday, the press service for the Ukrainian Regional Development Ministry has reported, citing the state committee investigating the plane crash.

According to the press service, the plane has left the Kharkiv international airport. "The plane is carrying forty coffins containing bodies," the report says.

The first plane, which carried the bodies of 16 crash victims, left Kharkiv for the Netherlands at around noon on Wednesday.

The procedures for preparing and transporting the victims' remains are expected to be completed by Friday.
