Militants steal diplomatic mail aboard Malaysian plane – NSDC
Illegal armed units have stolen diplomatic mail that was on board the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 that crashed in Donetsk region on July 17.
"The terrorists stole personal documents of the passengers and crew members that they found during their search and rescue work. In particular, Russian mercenaries stole diplomatic mail carried by this aircraft," Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council representative Andriy Lysenko said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
He also said that 810 specialists and 35 machinery units are being used in the course of search and rescue operation. About 120 square kilometers around the crash site has already been examined.
