Turchynov urges MPs to approve presidential decree on partial mobilization
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov has said that the parliament should approve on Tuesday a decree of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on a partial mobilization.
"Tomorrow we'll consider a presidential decree that should be signed under a decision of the National Security and Defense Council on partial mobilization, and you realize that within two days we have to approve the decree so that it comes into force," he said at a meeting of the parliament's conciliatory council on Monday.
He noted that MPs should adopt the draft resolution appealing "to all civilized countries to join efforts in the fight against international terrorism."
