182 bodies found at Malaysian airliner crash site in Donetsk region, search continues – regional authorities
The bodies of 182 victims of the downed Malaysian aircraft have been found at the crash site near the village of Hrabove, Shakhtarsk district, Donetsk region, according to a temporary Web site of the Donetsk Regional State Administration.
A mobile task force of the Emergencies Ministry branch in Donetsk region is working on the site, and the search continues, the administration said.
"This area is controlled by representatives of the Donetsk People's Republic. According to Head of State Regional Administration Serhiy Taruta, the militants are hampering a transparent international investigation into the crash, interfering with Ukrainian specialists on the scene, and have declared their intention to take the black boxes and the bodies of victims to Russia," the statement reads.
