Forty-four civilians have been killed and 215 injured amid armed hostilities in Luhansk in the past several days, Luhansk City Council said in a statement on its website.

"Civilians: 44 killed, including one child; 215 injured, including four children," the statement says, without specifying the period over which these people were killed and injured but noting that the report did not take into account the casualties and damage caused on July 18.
