Rada speaker urging international community to provide military aid to Ukraine to fight terrorism
Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov has urged the international community to provide military assistance to Ukraine to fight terrorism.
"Modern means of detecting military targets and ultra-precise weapons could have destroyed the missile launching systems of the terrorists and their Russian supervisors in a few days. They could have helped prevent the crash of the Boeing and save lives of many Ukrainians... Of course, we thank you for your support, for all the condolences and economic sanctions, but it is time to put an end to the aggression. It's time for the civilized world to join efforts with Ukraine and help destroy the terrorists, wherever they may be, through starting the delivery of modern weapons and military equipment to us," the Verkhovna Rada's press center quoted Turchynov as saying.
