Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Valeria Lutkovska has said that there were 80 children on board the Malaysian airliner that crashed in Donetsk region on July 17.

"It's painful to take and even harder to understand the deaths of hundreds of innocent people, among them 80 children. Nonhumans from the so-called DPR and LPR, who yesterday killed, maimed and used Ukrainian children as a human shield, have now extended their bloody hands to children from the whole world," the ombudsperson's press service quoted her as saying on Friday.
