Fight near Karlivka in Donbas ends with losses on both sides - Ukrainian commander

Ukrainian troops have ended fighting near the village of Karlivka, Donetsk region, having sustained one fatality, Ukrainian battalion commander Semen Semenchenko wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday.

The enemy death toll is around 25 people, he wrote.

Several permanent firing positions and reinforced points of the enemy have been destroyed, Semenchenko wrote. "We have 20 kilometers left to go to Donetsk," the Ukrainian military officer said.
