Three servicemen of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces have been killed in the last 24 hours, the spokesman for the information analytical center of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Andriy Lysenko, has said.
"Three servicemen have been killed and four injured in the fighting over the last 24 hours. Those dead include the chief of the headquarters of the fifth territorial defense battalion, who was killed by a sniper's bullet," he said at a briefing on Wednesday.
In addition, six gun attacks have been conducted on roadblocks and units of the Armed Forces near Luhansk, Diakove, Vesela Hora, Marynivka, and Schastia over the past 24 hours.
