Poroshenko pledges to do utmost for restoring peace life in Sloviansk

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko commented on his Sloviansk trip on Tuesday.

"The city finally has power supply. I tasked the local authorities to reconstruct homes and to repair water and gas mains," the president wrote on Facebook early on Wednesday morning.

"We must do our utmost to restore a peaceful life in the city freed from bandits and to help it feel the government's support. Ukraine is united," the president added.
