Up to 50 people killed in Kramatorsk during ATO - city council
Twenty-two people still remain hospitalized in Kramatorsk after being injured as a result of an anti-terrorist operation (ATO) conducted by Ukrainian government forces, the city council said on Tuesday.
"As a result of the ATO (Anti-Terrorist Operation) 142 injured people went through hospitals in Kramatorsk. Twenty-two of them are still in hospital," head of the City Health Care Department Ihor Mykhailov was quoted as saying.
Roughly, up to 50 people have been killed, 80% of them civilians, he said.
"As for those killed, only forensic experts, police and prosecutors can know the exact figure," Mykhailov said.
