Law enforcers found Russian sniper ammunition in Sloviansk – Interior Ministry
Ukraine's National Guard soldiers found ammunition for Russian-made sniper rifles in Sloviansk (the Donetsk region), the town liberated from militants on July 5, the press service of the Interior Ministry has reported.
"A lot of bullets for sniper rifles were found in the administrative buildings of the town. Journalists were shown such a 12.7 mm cartridge, which was used to shoot Ukrainian soldiers," reads the statement.
The ministry also noted that, according to experts, such bullets were able to penetrate Level IV bulletproof vests.
