Ukrainian Defense Ministry denies alleged death of 40 paratroopers

The information reported by some mass media outlets and social networks about the deaths of 40 paratroopers is not true, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry posted in a statement on its Web site on Thursday.

"During the first half of July 3 the Ukrainian Armed Forces have no troops killed or wounded," the Defense Ministry said.
