Some 3,000 displaced persons from Donbas accommodated in Odesa region
Some 3,000 displaced persons from Luhansk and Donetsk regions are in Odesa region as of July 3, Denys Platonov, acting head of the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Ministry's Main Department in Odesa region, said at a meeting of the regional headquarters on social security issues.
"A total of 1,500 servicemen and their family members from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea are currently in six health resorts in the region. Some 3,000 displaced persons from Luhansk and Donetsk regions have been registered. They have been accommodated in the region's health resorts. People arrive every day," he said.
According to the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Ministry, the health resorts of Odesa region, which can take disabled persons and citizens from socially vulnerable categories, are now overfilled. The number of free temporary accommodation spaces in the region is limited and makes it impossible to accommodate a considerable number of citizens.
