Militants open fire at village of Stanytsia Luhanska, civilian casualties reported – anti-terrorist operation press center

Members of illegal armed groups have opened fire at the village of Stanytsia Luhanska, which resulted in civilian casualties, the anti-terrorist operation's press center reported.

"Today, the terrorists deviously opened fire at the residential areas of the village of Stanytsia Luhanska. There are casualties among the civilian population and some civilian structures have been destroyed. What is more, the militants then accused the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine of carrying out an air strike," the report says.

No Ukrainian warplanes were deployed in the area of Stanytsia Luhanska, the ATO press center said. There was only artillery fire at around 0400, but they were firing in the opposite direction from the village.
