Rada speaker Turchynov hopes for efficiency of anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada Chairman Oleksandr Turchynov has praised the Ukrainian security forces for continuing an active onslaught in the eastern part of the country.

"The Armed Forces and the National Guard are continuing an active onslaught on terrorists and criminals," Turchynov said at a Rada session on Wednesday.

"Our military forces' actions are quite efficient and productive," he said.

These actions will help "fully clear the eastern part of our Ukraine of terrorists and free it from invaders," Turchynov said.

Upon the completion of the anti-terrorist operation, the Donetsk and Luhansk regions "will again live in peace and work together for a strong Ukraine," he said.
