Policeman killed, another two seriously injured during storming of Donetsk regional police department – Interior Ministry

One law enforcement officer was killed and two others were seriously injured during the storming of the regional police department building in Donetsk on Tuesday, according to the Interior Ministry of Ukraine.

"Terrorist groups started to storm the building of the main department of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in Donetsk region. Policemen led by General Kostiantyn Pozhydayev barricaded themselves in the building and are defending it. A policeman has been killed and several have been wounded, two of them seriously," reads a statement released on Tuesday afternoon.
