Luhansk militants detain Ukrainian TV reporter, cameraman
Illegal armed units of the self-proclaimed "Luhansk People's Republic" have taken captive Hromadske TV reporter Anastasia Stanko and the television station's cameraman, Hromadske TV has reported.
The journalists were illegally detained while performing their professional duties in the Luhansk region, it said.
"It is known that the employees of Hromatske TV have been transported to Luhansk and have been locked up in a basement," the TV station reported.
"So far, there have been no official statements on the part of representatives of the Luhansk People's Republic" concerning this incident. We are keeping in touch with a large number of officials, including at the highest level," it said.
