Gunmen in Donetsk order ICTV, 12 TV Channel replaced by Russian TV channels – NSDC
The broadcasts of Ukrainian television channels ICTV and municipal television channel 12 in Donetsk have been replaced by Russian channels under pressure of members of illegal armed groups, National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) information center spokesman Andriy Lysenko has said.
"On June 26, 2014, under pressure of terrorists, the broadcasting of Ukrainian channels ICTV and municipal 12 channel was replaced by Russian channels," Lysenko said at a briefing on Friday.
He said that this again confirms the fact of the coordination of the information war on the territory of Ukraine by Russia.
