Ukrainian and German leaders discuss Poroshenko's peace plan
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed the results of a recent four-party telephone conference over the phone, the Ukrainian leader's press service has said.
"The head of state reaffirmed his commitment to peacefully settling the situation in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions," the press service said.
The sides also discussed their vision of measures aimed at putting Poroshenko's peace plan for Ukraine's southeastern regions into practice.
"The sides agreed to continue their close coordination of efforts to implement the reached agreements," the press service said.
