Ukraine has lost 142 troops since the exacerbation of the situation in Ukraine in March 2014, acting Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Koval said.

"A total of 142 our troops were killed," he told reporters in Kyiv on Wednesday.

Koval specified that he is talking about the losses of the Ukrainian army from the beginning of the events in Crimea in spring 2014, when two Ukrainian troops were killed, to this day.
