Three crewmember were killed when a Mil Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Service crashed in the Kharkiv region, the Kharkiv police reported.
The helicopter went off radar screens at about 10 a.m. on Saturday.
"It was later established that the helicopter departed from the Nizhyn air field in the Chernihiv region to the Chuhuyiv airfield. It went off radar screens at 0955," the police said.
The helicopter was found in a forest near the town of Lazunivka in the Zmiyiv district on Sunday morning.
The incident will be investigated on counts of violating flight safety rules, the police said.
