Yatseniuk thanks Czech foreign minister for supporting Ukraine
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk met with Czech Foreign Minister Lubomir Zaoralek on Wednesday, the information and communication department of the secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has reported.
"The prime minister expressed his gratitude to the Czech authorities for their active support for Ukraine, including for their declared readiness to accept for treatment the injured participants in the anti-terrorist operation," reads the statement.
Yatseniuk praised the principled position of the Czech Republic in condemning the illegal annexation by Russia of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the role of the Russian side in destabilizing the situation in eastern Ukraine.
"The prime minister informed the Czech foreign minister about the current situation in resolving the question of supplies of Russian natural gas and noted the observance by Ukraine of the principles of transparency and reliability in gas supply to the European Union," reads the report.
