Biden supports Poroshenko's actions in eastern Ukraine

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and U.S. Vice President Joe Biden discussed on the phone early on Thursday the implementation of a peace plan of the head of state, the presidential press service has reported.

"Biden strongly supported the persistent efforts of the head of the Ukrainian state in restoring peace and calm in eastern Ukraine," reads the report.

Biden also expressed his sincere condolences over the death of Ukrainian servicemen during the anti-terrorist operation.
