Poroshenko orders inquiry into Russian journalist's death near Luhansk
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko insists at the request of the OSCE on a thorough inquiry into the death of Igor Kornelyuk, a journalist of the Russian broadcaster VGTRK, near Luhansk, the presidential press service said on Tuesday evening,
"The OSCE will be informed about the inquiry outcomes," it said.
The chief of state presented condolences over the journalist's death.
VGTRK journalist I. Kornelyuk died from injuries sustained in mortar fire near Luhansk in eastern Ukraine on Tuesday. The body of video engineer Anton Voloshin was found some time later. Cameraman Viktor Denisov was not hurt.
