OSCE sends special envoy Tagliavini to help to settle situation
The OSCE has sent to Ukraine special envoy Heidi Tagliavini to help to settle the situation on the east of the country.
At the request of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, it was decided to send a very experienced ambassador, Ms. Tagliavini, who has already arrived in Ukraine and will work together with Ukraine and Russia in view of the present situation, spokesman for the OSCE's special monitoring mission in Ukraine Michael Bociurkiw said on Friday.
He said that OSCE representative has already met with head of Ukrainian state and prime minister of Ukraine.
Bociurkiw said that the mission sees some progress in the talks.
